R.I.P., Barney McKenna (with "Rocky Road to Dublin")



Lovers of Irish music will be saddened by the unexpected passing this morning, at his home in Howth, County Dublin, of Barney McKenna, the inimitable banjo and mandolin player of the Irish folk band, the Dubliners.  McKenna had been the only original band member remaining since their forming fifty years ago in 1962.
