N. T. Wright "How God Became King" Promotional Video

March 13 is the release date for N. T. Wright's latest book, How God Became King: The Forgotten Story of the Gospels, published by HarperOne.  No scholar in my memory has as fertile a mind as Professor (and former Bishop) Tom, who always manages to shine a bright, focused light on bits of Scripture both obscure and prominent alike. (The latter, of course, has made him, and those who agree with him at least in part, "controversial" in some quarters; I say, "So be it").  In this work, Tom moves from his prior foci on the historical Jesus and St. Paul to the Gospels as finished theological products.  His focus is on the major theme of Jesus' ministry, the kingdom of God, and how this promised reign of God was inaugurated through Jesus' death and resurrection.  This book is high on my projected reading list for the coming year, and it should be on yours as well.
